Mullein Hill Christian Academy began many years ago in the minds of the pastors and several members of Mullein Hill Baptist Church. In 1993 the Lord raised up a group of the church members and gave them a vision to begin a Christian school in Lakeville, Massachusetts — a school with high academic standards as well as a spiritual and biblical philosophy of education. The academy is grateful to the full leadership team of Mullein Hill Baptist Church for their enthusiastic support and encouragement.

Mullein Hill Christian Academy began with thirty-eight students. This year, Mullein Hill Christian Academy has over one hundred forty students enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. We employ a faculty of highly qualified teachers and enjoy the ministries of a large volunteer staff and a very active Parent-Teacher Fellowship (P.T.F.). We are governed by a Board of Directors, in conjunction with a convenant and by-laws. The school’s principal is Mrs. Barbara Priestly. Mullein Hill Christian Academy is a Massachusetts registered nonprofit organization and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.

It is the vision of Mullein Hill Christian Academy to provide an academic educational environment which complements the vision of Mullein Hill Baptist Church and maintain a Christ-like approach to all aspects of education. Our vision currently includes exploration of faculty expansion (and active promotion of such), building expansion, and expansion into high school grades when this becomes practical.

Mullein Hill Christian Academy is growing and learning; just like its’ students! Enrollment continues to increase steadily. Each year new facets to our educational objectives are added or refined.

There are many people actively involved in the processes which will allow the school to grow and their sacrifices of time, money, and energy are sincerely appreciated. God has blessed this school with a purpose, which is to develop students of the truth. We are working hard to fulfill His plan
