Tuition
Application
$100 application fee payable (per child) at time of application. $100 re-enrollment fee (per child) for current students, due April 1.
NOTE: $50 of the fee will be applied to tuition due.
Multi-Child Discount
For families with more than one child enrolled, full tuition is charged for the more expensive tuition, while each additional child in the family receives a 5% discount.
Security Deposit
The equivalent of one month's tuition for each child enrolled (applicable to SMART and pay in full families). If child withdraws during the year, this is applied toward outstanding tuition and fees. The fee is rolled over to each subsequent year (for families on the SMART tuition plan). If child does not re-enroll for the following year, this will serve as the final tuition payment (additional money may be owed depending on tuition amount at time of withdrawal). The security deposit will be deducted from tuition due for those families who pay in full by June 1.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to families who meet criteria established by the academy. More information is available at the office.

Additional Fees
Extended Day
We offer an extended day program on a daily basis. The rates are $3 for the first ½ hour; $6 for each 31-60 minutes thereafter. There is a sibling discount for extended day services. The first child is full price and additional siblings are ½ price. Extended day is offered from 7:30am-8am and 3pm-5:30pm Monday-Friday (Extended day is not offered in the afternoon on ½ days).
Enrichment Clubs
Enrichment clubs, offering a variety of activities, are offered in 6 week sessions throughout the year. Enrollment for each 6 week club is $30 or $100 for a year long subscription.
Sports
Soccer is offered in the fall for grades 1 and older. Basketball is offered during the winter for grades 3 and older. There are fees associated with each sport.
Tuition paid in full by June 1 will receive a 3% discount. SMART Tuition Management Services handles our tuition collection. You may have automatic withdrawal (ACH) from your account or monthly invoices. Enrollment in SMART is $43 yearly. SMART payments are due the 10th of each month from June through May. SMART charges $40 in fees (a late fee of $20 for payments received 10 or more days after the due date + $30 for following up with parents on late payments). SMART also charges $25 for each check returned for insufficient funds and $20 for each returned ACH deduction. SMART's current credit card convenience fee is 2.50% of the payment amount. MHCA imposes a $30 fee for checks issued to the Academy which are returned for insufficient funds.
Please note that anyone who withdraws between April 1 and May 31 will forfeit the security deposit and re-enrollment fee. Withdrawals between June 1 and October 31 will be responsible for ½ the year's tuition. Withdrawals from November 1 through year end will be responsible for the full year's tuition. The Board of Directors reserves the right to make exception to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
