Board of Directors

Mullein Hill Christian Academy is administered by a Board of Directors. This board is responsible for establishing the policies governing the academy as well as developing the long-term vision for the academy. The members of the board are as follows:

Karen Burton President

Graduated from Bridgewater State College with a BS in elementary education. She has been teaching for nearly 20 years, 11 of which were served at Mullein Hill Christian Academy. Karen's daughter, Kelsey, who will be graduating from college in December, attended MHCA from kindergarten through 8th grade. Although Karen currently teaches in the Fall River public school system, her heart is still fully devoted to MHCA. She has been honored to be a member of the Board for three years, serving as Board president for the past 2 years. Karen is a member of Christ Community Church in East Taunton.

Michelle Wentworth Vice President

A graduate of Rhode Island College with a BA in Communications. She also holds a JD degree from Southern New England School of Law. Michelle's two children, Billy and Nathan both graduated from MHCA. Mrs. Wentworth enjoyed volunteering at MHCA in various ways whether serving in the lunchroom, substitute teaching or fundraising. She is looking forward to continue serving the school while on the Board.

Lisa Densman Secretary

A graduate of Bridgewater State University with a BS in secondary education. Lisa's daughter Shelby attended MHCA for eleven years graduating in May of 2010. She is a long time supporter of MHCA and the service the school provides to our Lord and the community. Lisa works for Johnson & Johnson and is a member of Central Congregational Church in Middleboro.

Gerel Crosby Director
